Grenamat AS boards and shapes are designed for high temperature constructions up to 1200 ° C.

Deflects heat back to the fire place, which increases the temperature. Then the fire place works more efficiently creating less pollution.

Properties Grenamat AS

Grenamat AS refractory boards and shapes are made of expanded vermiculite and a special inorganic binder that provides high resistance to thermal shocks and high temperatures up to 1200 ° C. The boards are healthy and do not contain any asbestos, glass or mineral fibers. They are sufficiently strong, mechanically stable and have excellent insulating properties.

Grenamat AS is resistant to CO and CH4 in the atmosphere and hardly wettable with liquid aluminum, cryolites and fluorides.

Grenamat AS as a replacement for fireclay linings

Compared to other materials such as fireclay and fireproof concrete, Gremat AS has several advantages:

Surface patterns and colors

We offer 15 basic types of surface patterns of boards (pressed design). We are able to produce a custom pattern according to your wishes.

Grenamat AS is available in black, gray, brown, white, yellow and brick. These colors can withstand high temperatures up to 1200 ° C and are color-stable even during prolonged operation.

Machining and processing Genamat AS

Grenamat AS vermiculite boards and shapes are easy to machine with conventional woodworking tools. When working with them, there is minimal dust.
