Chemical

The chemical modification has the property that the flaky-like structure of the vermiculite can expand or split into layers and thereby produce a very high ratio of particles. Such scattering plays a major role in coating both organic and inorganic fibrous products. This treatment significantly increases the thermal stability of the fibers.  A whole range of new vermiculite products can be produced based on various chemical processes. It is possible to produce flexible foils, papers, protective layers and specialized additives for various industries.
